Jamie + Richard have been together for 10 years! It was evident in our first meeting over coffee that these two truly mesh.
They chose to have their wedding at the grand + mysterious Castle Green in Pasadena.
Jamie’s rocked light purple hair but embraced an old, Hollywood glam style with her updo and wedding gown. They did a lovely first look on the steps + we did some portraits out on the sprawling porch. This was in the heart of December so we did a mix of embracing the holiday decor + trying to hide it altogether.
The actual ceremony took place down the street at the beautiful St. Phillip the Apostle Church. Their super fun reception followed back at the Castle Green with dinner + dancing into the night.
Fun/Weird Fact: Did you know that Disney parks once considered doing an attraction based on Castle Green in Pasadena? It’s very true. Before deciding on the ‘Twilight Zone’ Tower of Terror, Imagineers considered doing an attraction based on the real-life ghost story of Castle Green and the young man who died in the elevator. I had a few moments to chat with the security manager and he said he remembered when they came in and scanned the property for mock-ups. A true ghost story and a really cool Wedding Venue.
