The Historic Rancho Camulos is a lost California gem in the heart of Piru. [The Newhall Mansion is it’s swanky neighbor] Sam + Joel knew they wanted this special place as the backdrop for their wedding. The grounds are well preserved with old relics, fountains, structures. The lush gardens are filled with native California plants and maintained throughout the year. The museum embraces the past + celebrates the beauty of the desert. Sam is known for her on pointe sense of esthetic and the venue filled with retro details, vintage embellishments + pastel florals. Guests were transported into the past, a darn classy one.
First look took place under a full leafy arbor, the ceremony was outdoors in front of a giant oak + dancing commenced on the lawn under the stars.
I was happy to witness this day for many reasons, mostly because Sam is my friend + watching her grow + blossom into the beautiful woman she is has been the greatest treat. She + Joel have so many good things to come + I can’t wait to watch them grow together.
I love these photos, take a peek….
